Milo, aka “Bane of Kings”, reviews the last installment in the serialized Scars novel by Chris Wraight, Episode 12, published by Black Library as part of their New York Times Bestselling multi-authored series The Horus Heresy.

“Chris Wraight manages to bring Scars to a confident conclusion that sees this novel as another very strong addition to the Horus Heresy – easily on par with the likes of the likes of what Aaron Dembski-Bowden and Dan Abnett have put out in the past. This is excellent stuff, despite a few lingering problems.” ~Bane of Kings, The Founding Fields

Horus Heresy: Scars – Episodes X and XI by Chris Wraight – Review [Bane of Kings]

Scars Episode 10

Milo, aka “Bane of Kings”, reviews the tenth and eleventh parts in the epic serialized novel Scars by Chris Wraight, published by Black Library as part of the New York Times Bestselling multi-authored Horus Heresy series. Expect Episode X to hit Black Library’s website this Wednesday. Episode XI is already available to buy online.

“As we see in the concluding chapters of Scars, everything is coming to a conclusion. We get some great scenes between multiple Primarchs and Chris Wraight proves that he can handle inter-Primarch conversations very well, which, among other things – helps make Scars easily on the same level as the recent, and brilliant The Unremembered Empire. In other words, this means that it’s not to be missed by any Horus Heresy fan.” ~Bane of Kings, The Founding Fields

Scars Episode 7

Milo, aka “Bane of Kings”, reviews Episode VII of Scars, the seventh part out of twelve in the latest serialised Horus Heresy novel from Black Library, written by Chris Wraight. This continues the tales of the White Scars legion and if you’re reading this book as a collective format, then you’ll want to pick it up to see where it goes. But Episode VII is far from the best jumping on point for readers who have missed out on the previous 6.

“An excellent continuation of events from previous outings, Scars is still marred by the same problems that let down its predecessors.” ~Bane of Kings, The Founding Fields
