The Top 20 Comics That You Should Be Looking Out For On Wednesday 10 April 2013

Batman #19

In a new feature, Bane of Kings offers a glimpse at the Top 20 comics from various publishers hitting the shelves in store today that you should be looking out for.

With this new series, I thought I’d showcase 20 comics coming out this week, something to make things a little different from the normal reviews that you see every day from various Founding Fields members. With the wide variety of comics coming out today (Link) it was almost impossible to select only 20 of them, but I’ve made my choices at last and even if I’m not following them, I know that some people out there might be. Rather than be in order from least anticipated to most anticipated, I thought I’d show them alphabetically by publisher.

So now that that’s out of the way, what comics are you intending to pick up? Are there any that I’ve missed that should be on this list? Age of Ultron #5 is one example that I can think of, but personally – I’ve stopped following that title now, preferring to wait for the trade release despite the fact that it was picking up a bit in #4. So the comics that are on my pull list are: Batman, Batman and Red Robin, Hawkeye, Thor: God of Thunder, Uncanny X-Men and Uncanny Avengers – and maybe Wolverine. Of course, I’d love to get all of the 20, but my budget is limited and I haven’t caught up with stuff like The Walking Dead and Saga yet.
