Hey everyone, Commissar Ploss here to deliver on a piece of artwork we’ve all been waiting for, for quite some time! The cover art for Void Stalker, my friend Aaron’s third book in his highly acclaimed Night Lords series.
Following on from the exciting re-release of Lord of the Night last Friday, we can reveal the artwork for Aaron Dembski-Bowden’s next Night Lords novel, Void Stalker:
This piece, by Jon Sullivan, has to rate as one of the most impressive pictures of a Chaos Space Marine to date.
Aaron’s book will be out next year (it would be out sooner, but he’s busy getting married; sorry, ladies). In the meantime, If you’ve yet to read the first two books in the Night Lords series, you’ve got plenty of time to catch up. Both Soul Hunter and Blood Reaver are available here.
Now, a few months ago, if you’ve been a follower of this website that long, you may recall that back in October 2010, Commissar Ploss gave us the cover at for Dan Abnett’s Embedded. With the release of the novel not too far away, Angry Robot books have provided us with a few sample chapters, which are looking interesting. Check it out for yourself:

We’ve got some new artwork from the Black Library this week. A new cover shot of one of the upcoming Gaunt’s Ghosts books. The debate is still ongoing as to which one it’s for, but i’ve got my nose to the truth stone, and i’m fairly sure which book it goes to.
If my assumptions are correct, It’s the cover to the upcoming Gaunt’s Ghosts novel, Salvation’s Reach. Can’t wait for this one, should be an epic read.
Might as well discuss what he looks like. Stunning cover work, and actually this suits my current thoughts about what he looks like. A bit of a paunch, and trauma from being openly flayed in one of the latest books. War and age has taken it’s toll on him. Growing a bit past middle age, and that’s lucky enough for an active duty commissar. Perhaps Guant has pushed his luck far enough? Lets speculate what will happen in the next book shall we?
