Justice League 3000 03

Bane of Kings and Shadowhawk take a look at the newest issue of the latest Justice League book from DC Comics.

Justice League 3000 isn’t quite finding its groove yet after a promising start but it still continues to be fun and is far from the worst book on DC’s shelves right now.” ~Bane of Kings, The Founding Fields

“Loved that we got more insight into how this world of the future works, but the primary characters aren’t quite working for me. The charm is in the setting and not so much in the characters.” ~Shadowhawk, The Founding Fields

Batman and Robin Vol. 3: Death of the Family by Peter J. Tomasi – Graphic Novel Review [Bane of Kings]

Batman and Robin Vol. 3

Milo, aka “Bane of Kings”, reviews Peter J. Tomasi’s third Volume in the Batman and Robin series, a tie in to the titular Death of the Family, with artwork from Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray – featuring Bruce Wayne as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin. This is published by DC Comics as part of their New 52 Relaunch.

“An excellent swansong to Damian Wayne – Tomasi has made me care about the character a lot more than I would have otherwise. He proves that he’s a strong and gifted writer and whilst this series may not always receive as much attention as Snyder’s Batman Tomasi proves with this collection it’s certainly worthy of it.” ~Bane of Kings, The Founding Fields

“An epic story, some amazing set-pieces and moves at a spectacularly fast pace, the novel may not be as good as the film but it’s something that shouldn’t be overlooked.” ~The Founding Fields
