Top 20 Comics You Should Be Looking Out For On Wednesday 17 April 2013

Cable and the X-Force #7

Continuing last week’s post, Bane of Kings takes another look at the Top 20 comics that you should be looking out for today, from various publishers.

For those of you who’ve seen last week’s post, then you’ll no doubt be aware that this is a fairly new weekly feature to TFF. Now obviously, I can’t cover every single comic coming out this week, as there’s just too many new releases, but I’ve managed to reduce it to a nice and stable list of 20 new comics a week, from the big publishers such as Marvel and DC, to smaller publishers such as Boom! Studios and Valiant Entertainment. You can find the full list of comics that are being released this week here, but you will only have this week to see the list before it switches over to next week. But regardless, let’s get on with the show, and like last time, it’s in alphabetical order by Publisher.

Also, a new feature this week – if the comic is part of a limited series, for example - Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin, it will have a number next to the current issue which will tell you how many issues there are in that limited series – like this: Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin #1 (Of 5).

So I think you’ll agree that this is yet another strong week to be a comics fan. I’m picking up four new books on Friday, as I won’t be able to make it til the store to them, but I have them reserved - Superior Spiderman #8, Batwoman #19, Justice League #19 and  Nightwing #19. I also have two Marvel releases from last week that I’m picking up - Hawkeye #9 and Thor: God of Thunder #7 that I’ve reserved as well. So in total, that’s six books. I’d love to get the rest of the books that I’ve highlighted above, but, I’m not caught up on all the series and I don’t have enough money to get them all.

So what comics are you picking up this week? Let me know in the comments section.
